Description:
Thirty-five students are now receiving tuition and textbook stipends in programs for special education. Eight of the students are now attending upper division classes at ASU on the CAC campus. At least 5 more students will be starting at ASU in the Fall of 2008. We currently have a waiting list of 5 students.

Most students are or have been paraeducators in Pinal County and all have signed an agreement to work in Pinal County as special education teachers for at least 3 years after receiving their degree and full special education certification.

All students were informed that they must maintain continuous enrollment of at least 2 courses a semester towards the special education certification to qualify for continuing grant support.
