Description:
A two-parent panel shared their personal experiences in navigating the special education
maze as well as responded to a list of questions the students had formulated beforehand. An
overview of Raising Special Kids was also provided for this
"Introduction to the Exceptional Learner" class. Evaluations from students rated the presentation in the
exceptional range and comments noted how much they needed to learn about involving parents in
the decisions.
