Description:
A two-parent panel shared their experiences in navigating the special education maze. An
overview of Raising Special Kids was provided. Students commented on the
valuable resource Raising Special Kids provides for family support not available elsewhere
for Parent-to-Parent Support. Comments revealed that students appreciated the realistic
examples the parents gave them to better understand the full-time aspects of dealing
with special needs.
