Description:
Meeting at LEA with Director of Special Education and Professional Development Administrator
for a large school district in Southern Arizona. Discussion of collaborative objectives and
goals for recruiting and retention to increase number of highly qualified,
certified special educators. UA Teacher Mentoring Project Coordinator, as part of SPDG, met
with the administrators at their site. Outcomes: Agreement made to collaborate to Mentor Early Career Special
Educators in Southern Arizona. Next meeting set for February 27, 2008. |
