Description:
The recruitment activities for the University of Arizona Teacher Mentoring Project continue.
The recruitment and announcement flyer and website link sent to all Southern Arizona Special
Education Directors through SASEA led to six (6) School Districts\' administrators contacting
the UA Project Coordinator. Several contacts via email and telephone were
made with these administrators to mentor teachers. One teacher at a small school district
was added as a mentee; another one new teacher at a different district was also added as a
mentee. The other 3 districts will set up meetings as they learn more about the project and
